Description
Precision Conformal Coating Brushes
We use these conformal coating brushes in our own production environments. Our team β and many of our customers β have relied on them for years in professional electronics coating workflows.
The brushes are tapered to a fine point to support precise manual application of conformal coatings. Operators use them for hand coating PCBs, touch-up work, and rework tasks, particularly in areas where control and accuracy are critical.
They are especially effective around components, edges, small pads, vias, and tight spaces β helping technicians apply coating smoothly while reducing streaking and limiting pooling.
Why choose these brushes?
- Fine, tapered tips for accurate detail work
- Maintain their shape during repeated use
- Flexible bristles that resist shedding
- Consistent performance during prolonged dipping
- Suitable for prototypes, touch-ups, and low-volume production
- Designed for professional electronics manufacturing
Looking to coat larger, flat areas more quickly?
For wider, smoother laydown over flat PCB regions, solder masks, and open board areas, many operators prefer our chisel-tip coating brushes. These spread coating evenly over larger surfaces, whereas the pointed brushes above are optimised for precision and detail.
Brush sizes and dimensions
The table below shows key dimensions for brush sizes 1β6. The tip diameter indicates how fine the point is for detail work, while the length gives an indication of reach and control.
| Size | Tip diameter (mm) | Length (mm) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1.4 | 9.3 |
| 2 | 1.6 | 11.3 |
| 3 | 2.0 | 12.4 |
| 4 | 2.7 | 14.4 |
| 5 | 3.2 | 17.1 |
| 6 | 3.7 | 17.6 |
All dimensions are shown in millimetres.
