We use these conformal coating brushes in production environments. Our team โ and many of our customers โ have relied on them for many years in professional coating workflows.
The brushes support precise manual application of conformal coatings. Operators use them for hand coating PCBs, touch-up work, and rework tasks, particularly where controlled, even coverage across flat areas is required.
These chisel-tip brushes are particularly effective for spreading coating smoothly over larger, relatively flat PCB regions, solder mask areas, and open board surfaces where uniform film build is important.
In our own processes, 1/4″ and 1/8″ sizes are used for the majority of applications, providing a practical balance between coverage and control. Larger sizes are typically reserved for broader areas, while smaller sizes are used for tighter edge work and more selective application.
The brushes help technicians apply coatings accurately, reducing streaking and limiting pooling to support a smooth, even finish.
The bristles maintain their shape during use and remain flexible under repeated dipping, while also resisting bristle loss during prolonged application.

Need more precision around small components?
For tight areas, small pads, vias, and detailed rework, many operators prefer our fine-tip pointed coating brushes. These are optimised for accuracy and control, whereas the chisel brushes above are best for smooth laydown over larger flat areas.
