Extraction / Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV)
Extraction requirements vary across the SCH equipment range. Some coating processes require connection to suitable site extraction / Local Exhaust Ventilation, while for other equipment the requirement depends on the coating material, process and workplace.
Where applicable, SCH defines the relevant machine extraction connection, enclosure and equipment interface information. Individual equipment pages provide further information for each system.
The required airflow and overall site extraction performance should be determined for the actual materials, process and workplace by a competent extraction / LEV specialist where appropriate. UK customers should consider applicable HSE guidance; customers outside the UK should follow the relevant national or local legislation, regulations and guidance.
