Description
High-flow carbide tip for larger media and faster removal
The Vaniman ProBlast Large Violet Blasting Tip (0.059” / 1.5 mm) is a precision carbide nozzle designed for higher flow rates and controlled removal using 100–250 µm media.
It is particularly suited to thicker coatings, faster material removal, and applications where a larger blast pattern is required while maintaining control and repeatability on sensitive electronics.
Why choose the Violet Tip?
-
- ✔ High-flow carbide construction — durable for heavy production use
- ✔ Optimised for 100–250 µm media — smooth, consistent delivery
- ✔ Faster removal rates — ideal for thicker coatings
- ✔ Compatible with ProBlast handpieces — secure fit and reliable sealing
- ✔ Production-proven — used in SCH’s own rework services
- ✔ Preferred tip for VanAcrylic media when used with the 50–100 µm sand tank
Typical uses
- Rapid removal of thick Parylene coatings
- Stripping heavy or heavily cross-linked conformal coatings
- Exposing large test pads or ground planes
- Bulk rework areas rather than fine-detail work
- Higher-throughput production repair cells
System compatibility
Designed for use with the Vaniman ProBlast 3 ESD micro-abrasive blaster and compatible dust collection systems such as the StoneVac II.
For best performance with VanAcrylic 80/100 media, use this violet 0.059″ tip together with the 50–100 µm sand tank on the ProBlast 3 ESD.
