The DC100 Conformal Coating Drying Cabinet is a floor-standing cabinet designed for the controlled air-temperature drying of conformal coatings on printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
By enclosing assemblies during drying, the DC100 helps reduce exposure to airborne dust, fibres and other contamination while providing a practical holding area between coating application and subsequent inspection or handling.
SCH uses drying cabinets within its own conformal coating services, so the DC100 has been developed around the practical requirements of real coating production, including PCB handling, shelf flexibility and integration with site extraction where required.

Site Extraction / Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV)
Site extraction / LEV is application dependent. The DC100 provides a rear extraction pathway and a 150 mm extraction connection for integration with the customer’s site extraction or Local Exhaust Ventilation system where required.
SCH will provide the relevant cabinet dimensions and extraction interface information to assist the customer and their appointed extraction / LEV specialist.
Where extraction is required, the appropriate airflow and overall system performance should be determined by a competent specialist based on the coating material, drying process, workplace and applicable local health and safety requirements. For UK installations, applicable HSE guidance, including HSG258 where relevant, should be considered. Outside the UK, customers should refer to the applicable national or local legislation, regulations and guidance.
