Price range: £121.73 through £221.78 excl. VAT

Precision masking dot rolls for conformal coating and electronics protection, designed for repeatable, higher-volume production across all common coating processes.

Used in SCH conformal coating operations where consistent adhesion, edge sealing, and clean removal are required over extended production runs.

Roll quantities by diameter:
3.00 mm – 10.00 mm: 10,000 dots per roll
12.70 mm – 19.00 mm: 5,000 dots per roll

Description

We use these masking dot rolls daily in conformal coating operations. Teams have relied on them for many years. They choose them for reliability, consistency and clean removal in demanding production environments.

The rolls of masking dots deliver precise, selective masking during conformal coating and spray coating. Operators use them to protect connectors, test points, LEDs and defined keep-out areas. They control coating ingress where accuracy matters.

The dots prevent unwanted coating build-up. This improves process efficiency and first-pass yield. It also reduces the need for rework.

The adhesive holds the dots securely during application and curing. The dots then peel away cleanly. They leave no residue and do not damage sensitive surfaces.

The dots come in multiple sizes on the rolls. Operators achieve accurate, repeatable masking across many applications. Teams use them for prototyping, low-volume production and high-mix manufacturing. They perform well in both manual and automated coating processes. They help deliver consistent coating quality every time.

For prototype builds or short-lead-time requirements, A4 masking dot sheets may be more suitable.

Additional Information

Our dedicated range of masking dot rolls is designed specifically for conformal coating production environments and is compatible with all common coating processes.

Many general-purpose masking dots and tapes available on the market are not optimised for conformal coating applications and can introduce avoidable process issues, including:

  • Thin coating around the perimeter of the dot, where the coating pulls back (de-wetting)
  • Residue left behind after removal, requiring additional cleaning steps
  • Coating bleed underneath the dot during application
  • Tearing or splitting during removal, slowing production
  • Adverse chemical interaction with the conformal coating material

For an efficient and repeatable production process, it is essential to minimise these effects. Our masking dots are engineered to provide reliable adhesion, clean removal, and effective edge sealing, ensuring protected areas remain completely free from coating and supporting a stable, repeatable conformal coating process, while helping to reduce rework and process variation.
