Inspection

The IB100 & IB101 Single and Double Inspection Booths provide uniform UV illumination that removes glare and shadows so thin areas, skips, and bubbles are easy to spot.
Our booths, that we use in our own conformal coating services, create a controlled environment that boosts yield and reduces rework.
By giving operators clear, repeatable visibility, defects are caught early before boards move further down the line. This not only reduces costly rework but also strengthens process consistency and helps demonstrate compliance with IPC and customer quality standards.
- 365 nm UV highlights fluorescent trace for clear coverage checks
- Adjustable white light and ergonomic layouts
- Optional rear extraction for VOCs on solvent-based coatings
- Durable, easy-clean construction — production-proven
Dry & Cure

The DC100 Drying Cabinet provides stable, dust-free curing & drying that prevents surface defects and protects assemblies while conformal coatings dry.
Cabinets control clean airflow using the extraction into the back that handles low VOC levels.
This creates a safe, consistent space where coatings dry smoothly without particles or imperfections. The controlled environment reduces rejects, improves reliability, and gives operators confidence that every batch will meet specification.
- Clean, controlled space for even, repeatable drying
- Option to fit rear extraction and improve operator safety
- Stainless-steel internals and easy-clean design
- Field-proven in SCH’s daily coating operations
Removal
Rework is inevitable for conformal coatings and Parylene — do it without damaging components. Choose localised micro-abrasive rework or full-board wet stripping.
Micro-Abrasive Removal

Vaniman Problast systems use ESD-safe micro-abrasive blasting to remove Parylene and other coatings with local precision.
- Interchangeable nozzles and adjustable pressure
- Clean, controlled, repeatable results
- Electronics-safe design minimises ESD and particulate risk
- Production-proven in SCH’s services
Wet Stripping Removal

WS100 Conformal Coating Stripping System is a safe workstation for full-board stripping with a four-tank sequence and protective screen. Each tank stage progressively removes more coating, leaving a clean finish that avoids damage to delicate components. With integrated lighting and durable stainless-steel internals, the WS100 ensures operators can strip coatings consistently and repeatably. It’s trusted in production where difficult materials like urethanes and acrylics must be removed completely and safely.
- Complete removal when mechanical rework isn’t practical
- White + UV lighting; stainless internals for durability
- Optional extraction for solvent fumes

Thickness Measurement
Accurate thickness verification underpins compliance and process control. Choose optical, eddy-current, or simple wet-film checks.
KR-FM20 – Optical Film Thickness Monitor

Non-contact optical measurement from 50 nm to 60 µm with ~1% accuracy, suited to inline QA and lab validation.
- Real-time readout and software integration
- Continuous monitoring mode for process validation
- Non-destructive — no cutting or cross-sectioning
- Used daily in SCH’s coating services

Positector – Eddy Current Measurement

Positector 6000 measures non-conductive coatings over conductive substrates quickly and non-destructively.
- Portable handheld gauge for line checks and final inspection
- Ideal when optical methods aren’t practical
- ±1 µm typical accuracy in the 25–50 µm range
Wet Film Gauges – In-Process Control

Low-cost, immediate feedback during application. Measure wet film and apply resin solids to predict dry film thickness and adjust settings in real time.
- Simple, production-friendly checks
- Prevents over-application and reduces waste
- Works on manual and automated lines
