Custom masking is particularly useful for applications involving complex connectors, irregular component geometries, dense PCB layouts or defined keep-out areas that cannot be effectively masked using standard dot rolls, A4 dot sheets or masking tapes.
Masking dots and shapes are produced to match specific component footprints or design constraints and supplied in A4 sheet format for efficient workstation handling and consistent application during preparation and production.
How the custom masking process works
- Submit your custom masking requirements using the request form
- Provide details such as dot size, shape, layout, quantity and application
- Upload a drawing, PCB file, photograph or sketch (rough drawings are acceptable)
- SCH reviews the request to confirm feasibility and lead time
- Once approved, a secure payment link is provided and manufacture begins
