What conformal coating cleaning methods do SCH use in their conformal coating service?

SCH use a 4 stage aqueous spray under immersion process from Kerry with no ultrasonics. As standard we use a Humiseal cleaning fluid CKS501 but can use alternatives. The Process is wash, rinse DI, rinse polished DI, dry. The polished DI is monitored constantly for conductivity to ensure high quality rinsing.

 

The cleaning fluids used by SCH include:

• Electrolube Safewash 2000
• Humiseal CKS501
• Humiseal CKB401
• Zestron A200
• Zestron FA

We use a Ionograph contamination tester when required. This can be used at any agreed frequency or batch size.
